Actress Seerat Kapoor never fails to impress with her impeccable fashion sense and this time was no different. The Tollywood diva turned heads as she made a grand appearance as the guest of honour, at a prestigious corporate award event, where she felicitated over 168 winners. Seerat, known for her elegant yet bold sartorial choices, grabbed all the eyeballs at the red carpet with her dazzling multicoloured sequin mermaid gown that instantly swooned hearts.

For the red carpet and the awards night, Seerat opted for a stunning multicoloured sequin mermaid off-shoulder dress by Anushka Puri. The gown, designed to hug her hour glass figure in all the right places, featured a ruched off-shoulder bodice that beautifully accentuated her collarbones and shoulders. The dramatic side slit added a hint of boldness while the flowing maxi skirt moved gracefully as she walked, making it a perfect pick for a glamorous evening affair. The multicoloured sequins shimmered under the lights, reflecting a palette of rich hues that elevated the entire look to a show stopping moment. The outfit cost a price of 9950Rs.

Seerat smartly chose to keep her accessories minimal to let the gown remain the hero of the night. She paired the ensemble with subtle hanging earrings and a few delicate rings adding just the right touch of sparkle without overpowering the look.  This entire look of Seerat was styled by Tollywood’s known stylist Anahita. Seerat surely made her sparkling bodycon dress steal the limelight.

Her makeup look for the evening was kept glamorous with a dewy, flawless base. A warm blush added a fresh glow to her cheeks, while a bronzed, sculpted finish defined her facial features. Seerat’s eye makeup was dramatic yet chic, with brown smokey eyes, voluminous lashes and well-defined eyebrows framing her face perfectly. Her lips were adorned with a glossy nude shade in a soft pink-brown tint, completing the overall makeup look with grace. With her tresses left open in side-parted wavy curls to complement the shimmering gown, she added a touch of old-Hollywood glam to her ensemble. She finished the look with a pair of long rose gold heels, which elevated her stature and seamlessly blended into the colour palette of her outfit.

Take a look at the BTS video

Seerat Kapoor once again proved why she’s considered one of the leading style icons in the industry. By smartly opting for minimal jewellery and a subtle beauty look, she allowed her shimmering mermaid gown to remain the highlight of the evening. Actress, Producer & host Nikita Rawal is known for her blunt, honest and straightforward nature that has always resonated with the audience. She believes in walking the talk and practicing what she preaches and no wonder, her words are always taken seriously. The charismatic Producer, actress and host has now shared a savage and direct message for those individuals who use social media for putting just cringe and vulgar content without any purpose or objective.

Recently, the actress was asked in a forum about what’s her take on the rising problem of platforms like Instagram falling prey to vulgar and cringe content. To that, the actress responded saying,

“Well, first of all, I love social media and in today’s time, it is an irreplaceable part of our lives. Everyone right from the teenage to the young generation, mid-age generation and old generation, we are all on it in different ways. That means imagine the potential of the platform if used to good effect to exert positive influence and motivation? While I definitely see that happening with some really good content, I also come across too much obscene, vulgar and cringe content online which perhaps is not fit for a platform like Instagram which has users of all age groups, including children. I love seeing some of the dance videos on Instagram or the hilarious fun reels. At least, they are providing entertainment to the ones who are often jaded and tired with their daily mundane lives. But I want to know what influence or positivity we are giving by putting cringe and vulgar content on Instagram? If someone wants to put that kind of content, please feel free to put it but I don’t think Instagram is the platform for that. I really feel there are some people who are literally up to no good, have zero idea about what they are doing but are just still putting vulgar obscene content just for the sake of it for views and money. I just want to say to these people that if you can’t make the online world a better place, at least don’t make it worse with such activities. I am not judging anyone here but every platform has a specific purpose or objective. I am sure Instagram is not for pornography-type content. We really need to filter this as it’s not leaving a good taste or influence for the young teenage users of social media. I really hope quality filtering happens and social media becomes a place to motivate and inspire more rather than just a medium of obscene and cringe content.”

Well, Nikita Rawal’s words have certainly got a lot of merit and no wonder, many individuals all over the country can relate to her. Kudos to her for speaking her heart out and going for glory. On the work front, she has some interesting projects happening at her end and the official announcements will happen soon as per the ideal timelines. We wish her good luck for her future endeavours.

Jaipur, July 5, 2025 – Today marks National Workaholics Day, observed every year on July 5 to remind those who are excessively devoted to their work – often at the cost of their health, family, and hobbies – to pause and reflect. On this occasion, Rajasthan-based digital entrepreneur and media personality Junjaram Thory highlighted the importance of achieving a healthy work-life balance.

Junjaram Thory, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Sangri Today and CEO of Sangri Internet Pvt. Ltd., is widely known for his initiatives in digital journalism, PR, and media solutions. Speaking about workaholism, he said:

“When we keep working non-stop, we miss out on life’s true joys – family, health, hobbies. We must know when to pause.”

Junjaram started his journey in digital media as a teenager. He has worked extensively in journalism, fact-checking, and social awareness campaigns. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he launched the Sangri Fact-Check Portal to fight misinformation, an effort that earned him the Real Super Heroes 2020 Award for his contributions to society.

Sharing his perspective further, Thory added:

“Being a workaholic is not always negative – it shows passion and dedication. But when it starts exhausting us or affecting our relationships, it’s time to stop and rethink.”

He believes that maintaining a work-life balance not only improves productivity but also keeps one mentally strong and happy. His suggestions include:

Set clear boundaries between work and personal life.

Take breaks and holidays regularly to refresh your body and mind.

Develop hobbies like art, sports, or travel to keep life enriched beyond work.

On National Workaholics Day, Junjaram appealed to the youth, professionals, and entrepreneurs to ask themselves at least once a day – “Am I living my life or just working through it?”

His message today resonates with the theme of the day – reminding everyone that white work is important, life is meant to be truly lived beyond office screens and deadlines.

Veteran actor and theatre artist Swaroopa Ghosh, known for her impactful work in films like Love Hostel, Trial Period, LSD 2, War, Scoop, and Tooth Pari, will soon be seen in Sony TV’s upcoming show Ami Dakini. With a career marked by layered performances and socially conscious storytelling, Swaroopa has consistently used her voice to spotlight issues often left unspoken. This June, as the world marks Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, she turns her attention to an issue that remains largely invisible: the emotional and psychological struggles men face.

“Men in general find it difficult to express their emotions. To expect them to talk about mental health issues is even more difficult,” she reflects. “There’s a fear of being labelled as weak or mad—and just a few years ago, mental illness itself was often equated with madness.”

She recalls how this stigma not only affected those suffering but also undermined mental health professionals. “Even psychologists or doctors weren’t taken seriously—largely due to ignorance and fear. Fear of being isolated or judged kept most men from opening up, even among friends.”

Swaroopa points out how, over time, women have carved out emotional ecosystems—safe spaces where they can confide, share, and support each other. Men, meanwhile, tend to keep their conversations surface-level, often steering clear of anything that could be perceived as emotional vulnerability. The outcome, she says, is troubling: “This internalised pressure builds up, and it either implodes into breakdowns or explodes as aggression.”

She also touches on the deep-rooted conditioning within families. “Men are expected to be providers and protectors—but no one talks about the emotional cost of playing that role. This denial—whether out of ignorance or cultural norms—leaves men emotionally stranded.”

For real change to take root, Swaroopa believes we must begin with children. “Mental health education needs to be part of our school curriculum. That way, expressing emotions becomes a norm, not a taboo. It empowers children to cope, share, and seek help without guilt or fear.”

She is especially firm about breaking the myth that mental illness is a life sentence. “The idea that therapy is only for the ‘mad’ or ‘broken’ has to go. We must create a culture where it’s okay for men to talk, to cry, to reach out—and know that they won’t be judged for it.”

With decades of experience across stage and screen, Swaroopa Ghosh’s voice is grounded in empathy and conviction. Her call is simple yet profound: Men deserve the space to feel, to speak, and to heal—without fear, without stigma, and certainly without shame.
